By profession a Biomedical Engineer, have an experience of more than 20 years. Completed Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology and Masters in Bio Medical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. Started his career from Tabba Heart Institute as a trainee engineer and left the Institute as Senior Manager Head of Biomedical Engineering Department after serving 19 years and 6 months. Have worked on nearly every biomedical equipment / device, namely Patient Monitor, Anesthesia, Defibrillator, ICU Ventilator and Infusion & Syringe pumps. Supervises several projects as Head within Tabba Heart Institute like, the MODULAR Operation Theater, State of the Art Cardiac Catheterization Lab, installation of PTS (Pneumatic Tube System) for transportation of blood samples, installation of Toshiba Aquilion Prime 80 Slices CT Scanner, installation of Philips Azurion 7 and Azurion 3 Cardiac Catheterization Lab. 

Also worked as Specialist for UNOPS (United Nation Office for Project Services) for a project in Gilgit Baltistan. Apart from equipments, also have a good experience of Quality Management System (ISO 9001 – 2015) & Environment Management System (14001-2015). Have been engaged in having department accredited by ISO. Also working as Deputy Team Leader of Facility Management & Safety Chapter for JCIA at Tabba Heart Institute.

 A certified ISO Internal Auditor. Have also completed ‘Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace’, an accredited training from Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, UK. Member of BoS (Board of Studies) as an Industrial Expert, Member of IAB (Industrial Advisory Board) as an Expert in Ziauddin University Faculty of Engineering Science & Technology and Member of IAB (Industrial Advisory Board) as an Expert in Salim Habib University.
