Eligibility
- Must provide official proof of student status during and after the internship period.
- Must hold a valid non-Taiwan (ROC) passport.
Program Duration
- Summer: Minimum 10 weeks (May–September).
- Long-term: 4–6 months, flexible throughout the year.
- Start/end dates are flexible and confirmed upon acceptance.
- Applicants should indicate preferred internship dates.
What ITRI Provides

- On-campus accommodation (modern dormitories)
- Monthly stipend (before tax): NT$24,000 – NT$40,000
- Free accident insurance (medical insurance must be arranged independently)
Application Deadline
- Summer internships: Rolling basis (positions removed once filled).
- Other terms: Apply 3–4 months before intended start date.

Additional Information
- Working language: English (Mandarin required only if stated).
- Interns usually cover their own travel expenses.
- Remote internships may be possible (indicate in application).
- ITRI arranges internship/work permit; interns must obtain ROC visa before arrival.

- ROC-only passport holders are not eligible for this International Internship Program.

Foreign males of Taiwanese descent (18–40) holding foreign passports should ensure total stay in Taiwan does not exceed four months due to military service regulations.
