Representatives of Bazm-e-BME recently visited Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Karachi for in-person interaction with its members. We are grateful to Engr .Dr. Sidra Abid Syed (Chairperson of Biomedical Engineering Department Sir Syed UET) for her cooperation and encouragement. Founder of Bazm-e-BME (Syed Saim Gardezi), Media and Marketing Team Lead (Taha Zaidi), Graphic Designing Team Lead (Muhammad Daniyal) and Chair of IEEE EMBS Student Branch SSUET (Abdul Wasay) was part of this esteemed meeting. Dr. Sidra appreciated the efforts of Bazm-e-BME for uplifting Biomedical Engineering across the whole of Pakistan. She also highlighted the importance of collaboration among various universities and industries for providing Qualitative Education, Job and Internship opportunities.* One of the biggest hurdles in the growth of our field is the lack of cooperation among different universities. Students and alumni should try to support and cooperate as we rise by lifting others.

Furthermore, DBME SSUET has showed willingness for collaborative activities with Bazm-e-BME, and it will surely prove valuable in spreading awareness about the true essence of Biomedical Engineering! Graduates of Sir Syed University have been serving in the field of BME for many decades, and we are thankful to them for joining the Bazm-e-BME is not just limited to the WhatsApp group; it is a well-organised society having the aim of connecting all Biomedical Engineering Students, Practicing Engineers, and Academicians in Pakistan.
