Representative of Bazm-e-BME visit to HITEC:

Representatives of Bazm-e-BME recently visited the Biomedical Engineering Department at HITEC University (located in the worth seeing region of Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan). The hospitality and warm welcome from the faculty members and students was truly meaningful for us. We are thankful to Dr. Nizam Uddin (HOD, Department of Biomedical Engineering, HITEC University) for encouraging and supporting the efforts of Bazm-e-BME. The Undergraduate Degree Program in Biomedical Engineering at HITEC University was started in Fall 2021. To provide Outcome-Based Education to the students, the labs are equipped with modern instruments. Furthermore, the staff is truly cooperative and dedicated for uplifting Biomedical Engineering Education.

The contribution of Engr. Zainab Ali and Engr. Atiqa Saleem (faculty members of HITEC University) are much appreciated in this regard. It was a great merriment for us to see that students at HITEC University are passionate and well aware of the mission and core values of Bazm-e-BME. This is all possible due to the continuous efforts of Talha Bin Shakeel (Mr Talha) (Representative Lead of Bazm-e-BME, HITEC University), Aayrus and Muhammad Taha (Chairperson and .Vice Chairperson of IEEE EMBS, HITEC University, Student Branch respectively)Industries and companies should provide startup/internship opportunities to BME students from Punjab as well for the designing and from Sir ,مﺰﺑ development of Biomedical Devices. In Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Karachi to HITEC University, Taxila, we are all united in contributing equally to promote our beloved field of Biomedical Engineering with full " ✨ .zest and perseverance.
