To ultimately attain the well-being of a society, members of Bazm-e-BME should properly follow the following code of ethics.
Protect the privacy of others.
Design ethically and Develop Sustainable practices.
Improve the understanding of emerging technologies.
Avoid conflicts of interest.
Avoid unlawful conduct in professional activities.
Seek, Accept, and Offer honest criticism of technical work.
Be honest and realistic when stating claims.
Credit properly.
Maintain and improve the technical competence.
Do not discriminate.
Do not engage in harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment or bullying behaviour.
Avoid injuring others, their property, reputation, or employment by false or malicious actions, rumours or any other verbal or physical abuses.
Support colleagues and co-workers in following this code of ethics.
Do not retaliate against individuals reporting a violation (Whistle-Blowers).
Do not Share Personal Social Media Links through the platforms of Bazm-e-BME.
Do not send Direct Messages to the members without the grant of permission.
Never spread hatred.
Check the reliability and Authenticity of the Information before sharing it in Bazm.
Avoid slang words in professional gatherings.
Avoid personal biases while serving the Biomedical Engineering Community.
Try to help others without considering personal benefits.
Strive to ensure the code is upheld.
